Kristen Holden-Ried is a Canadian actor born on August 1, 1973, in Pickering, Ontario. He attended the Concordia University School of Business in Montreal before choosing to pursue an acting career. He made his professional debut in 1995 with a starring role in the television movie Young Ivanhoe. His film and television credits include appearances in The Outer Limits, The Dead Zone, and Smallville. He is recognized for his roles as William Compton in the Showtime series The Tudors, Dyson in the Syfy series Lost Girl, and Quint Lane in the film Underworld: Awakening. He was cast in his role for The Tudors in 2007.
