Biography
Kyle Chandler is an American actor born on September 17, 1965, in Buffalo, New York, USA. He made his screen acting debut in the 1988 television film Quiet Victory: The Charlie Wedemeyer Story. Chandler's first regular television role was in the ABC drama Homefront from 1991 to 1993. He then played the lead role in the series Early Edition from 1996 to 2000. Chandler's performance in the NBC series Friday Night Lights, where he played Eric Taylor, earned him critical acclaim and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2011. He also received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his guest appearance on Grey's Anatomy.
