Keith Lionel Urban, born on October 26, 1967, in Whangarei, North Island, New Zealand, is a country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He began his career in Australia at an early age before releasing a self-titled debut album in 1991 and charting four singles in Australia. He moved to the United States in 1992, where he worked as a session guitarist and later formed a band called The Ranch, which recorded a studio album on Capitol Records and charted two singles on the Billboard country charts. Still signed to Capitol, he made his solo American debut in 1999. In the film and television space, Urban has known credits in acting and has been associated with projects including Garth Brooks: The Road I'm On, the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and Ten nejlepší.
