Kang Gary, born Kang Hee-gun on February 24, 1978, in Seoul, South Korea, is a rapper, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, and television personality. He is best known as a former member of the hip-hop duo Leessang and for his prominent role as a cast member on the variety show Running Man. Gary has also appeared on other popular South Korean programs such as Infinite Challenge, Law of the Jungle, and You Hee-yeol's Sketchbook. Before his entertainment career, he graduated from Jamsil High School.
