Biography
John Lynch is an Irish actor and novelist born on December 26, 1961, in Corrinshego, Northern Ireland. He won the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actor for his performance in the 1995 film Angel Baby. His extensive film and television credits include appearances in Cal in 1984, The Secret Garden and In the Name of the Father in 1993, Sliding Doors in 1998, and The Fall from 2013 to 2016. Later in his career, he appeared in Medici in 2019, The Head in 2020, and The Banishing in 2021. In addition to his acting career, Lynch has authored two novels, Torn Water, published in 2005, and Falling Out of Heaven, published in 2010.
