Peak Practice is a British medical drama series that centers on the professional and personal lives of the doctors and staff at a general practitioner surgery. The show is set in Cardale, a fictional town located in the Derbyshire Peak District. The series aired on ITV from May 10, 1993, until January 30, 2002. During its run, it was considered one of the network's most successful programs. The original cast featured Kevin Whately as Dr. Jack Kerruish, Amanda Burton as Dr. Beth Glover, and Simon Shepherd as Dr. Will Preston. As the series progressed over several years, the roster of doctors at the practice changed multiple times. The narrative follows the partners at the clinic, including Dr. Beth Glover, who served as the first senior partner after inheriting the practice from her father.
