John Ching Tung is a Hong Kong film actor and producer. He is widely recognized for his portrayal of the character Cyclops within the God of Gamblers film franchise. Additionally, he has appeared in numerous motion pictures starring Stephen Chow. Regarding his professional choices, Ching Tung has stated that while he is not averse to playing villainous characters, he maintains a policy of refusing two specific types of roles. He declines to portray rapists or individuals of Japanese nationality. He cites concerns regarding potential public controversy, the risk of being stereotyped, and a desire to ensure his daughter understands the nature of his work.
