She began her public career in July 2017 when she entered Mnet’s reality competition Idol School, finishing in fifteenth place. The following year she competed in the Mnet program Produce 48, where she placed third and secured a position in the twelve‑member girl group IZ*ONE. She is currently under WakeOne Entertainment.
