Lee Jung-jae is a South Korean actor born on December 15, 1972, in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He began modeling in 1993 before securing his early acting roles in the film The Young Man and the television series Feelings in 1994, followed by Sandglass in 1995. His breakthrough came with leading roles in the films The Affair and City of the Rising Sun, with the latter earning him a Best Actor award at the Blue Dragon film awards. These successes were followed by critical hits such as Il Mare, as well as commercial successes including Last Present, The Last Witness, and Oh Brothers.
