Biography
Jesse Lee Soffer is an American actor and television director. He played Detective Jay Halstead on the TV series "Chicago P.D." and appeared in crossover episodes of "Chicago Fire", "Chicago Med", and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". After his last appearance as Jay Halstead, Soffer directed multiple "Chicago P.D." episodes. He then portrayed Supervisory Special Agent Wesley Mitchell on the series "FBI: International", another production from prolific TV producer Dick Wolf.
