Biography
Jennifer Lee is an American filmmaker and playwright. She served as the chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios from 2018 to 2024. Lee is known for writing and directing Frozen and its sequel Frozen 2. She earned an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for Frozen. Additionally, Lee holds the distinction of being the first female chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, the first female director of a Walt Disney Animation Studios feature film, and the first female director of two feature films that each earned more than $1 billion in gross box office revenue.
