Known for her acting credits, she starred in the television series Hana no Asuka-gumi! alongside Megumi Odaka and Natsuki Ozawa. In addition to her acting work, Ishida released six albums and several singles, including the minor hit song Emerald no Suna, and had at least one song featured on the NHK program Minna no Uta.
