Harry Guardino (December 23, 1925 – July 17, 1995) was an American male actor whose career extended from the early 1950s to the early 1990s. Born in Brooklyn, New York City, he worked across stage, film and television. In 1964 he was cast as investigative journalist Danny Taylor in the short‑lived CBS drama The Reporter, appearing opposite Gary Merrill, who played city editor Lou Sheldon. Guardino’s Broadway credits included A Hatful of Rain, One More River— for which he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play—Anyone Can Whistle, The Rose Tattoo and The Seven Descents of Myrtle. He was also known as Harold.
