Esmond Knight was an English actor born on May 4, 1906, in East Sheen, Surrey, England. He had a career spanning over half a century, during which he was virtually blind for a significant period. Knight's active service on board HMS Prince of Wales resulted in severe injuries, leaving him totally blind for two years, although he later regained some sight in his right eye. He dictated an early autobiography, Seeking The Bubble, to his secretary Annabella Cloudsley in 1943. Knight is known for his acting credits, with a total of 114 known credits.
