Dexter Fletcher is an English actor and director born on January 31, 1966, in North London, England, United Kingdom. As an actor, he has appeared in films including Bugsy Malone, Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and the crime comedy Smoking Guns. His television credits include the children's show Press Gang, the HBO series Band of Brothers, and the comedy-drama Hotel Babylon. Additionally, he served as a presenter on the third series of Channel 4's GamesMaster in 1993 and 1994. Fletcher made his directorial debut with the film Wild Bill in 2011, and subsequently directed Sunshine on Leith in 2013 and Eddie the Eagle in 2015. He also replaced Bryan Singer as the director of Bohemian Rhapsody, a biopic about the band Queen.
