Biography
Dervla Kirwan is an Irish actress born on 24 October 1971 in Churchtown, Dublin, Ireland. She is known for her roles in British television shows such as Ballykissangel and Goodnight Sweetheart. Kirwan also appeared in the Doctor Who Christmas special episode, The Next Doctor, and provided voiceovers for a Marks & Spencer advertising campaign. She is the youngest of three daughters, with her father working as an insurance broker and her mother as a language teacher. Kirwan is a great grand-daughter of Margaret Collins-O'Driscoll, who was a sister of Michael Collins.
