David Edward Williams, known professionally as David Walliams, is an English actor, comedian, writer, television personality, and activist born on August 20, 1971, in Banstead, Surrey, England. He is best known for his work with Matt Lucas on the BBC sketch comedy series Little Britain and Come Fly With Me. From 2012 to 2022, he served as a judge on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent on ITV. Walliams also wrote and starred in the BBC One sitcom Big School from 2013 to 2014, and his acting credits include playing Greville White in the 2007 television drama film Capturing Mary as well as Tommy Beresford. Additionally, he is a children's author.
