Crispin Daniel Bonham-Carter is a retired actor, theatre director, and educator. Born on September 23, 1969, in Colchester, Essex, United Kingdom, he is known for his work in television and film. His best-known acting role is Mr. Bingley in the 1995 television miniseries Pride and Prejudice, though he originally auditioned for the role of George Wickham. His acting credits also include appearances in Casino Royale, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, and The Chronicles of Brother Cadfael. In 2007, he retrained as a teacher and taught English and Classics at a North London comprehensive school before being appointed Assistant Head at the Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet, in 2019.
