Cherie Chung Cho-Hung is a retired Hong Kong actress born on February 16, 1960, in Hong Kong, China. Also known by her stage name and the Chinese characters 鍾楚紅 as well as the Korean name 종초홍, she is recognized for her work in acting with a total of 53 known credits recorded on the Movie Database. After finishing as the third runner-up in the Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant, she was scouted by producer and director Johnnie To and cast in his 1980 film The Enigmatic Case. She retired from acting in 1991 to focus on her marriage and family, and later became very active in promoting environmental protection.
