Catherine Deneuve is a French actress considered one of the greatest European actresses. She was born on 22 October 1943 and has worked with various directors, including Jacques Demy, Luis Buñuel, François Truffaut, and Roman Polanski. Deneuve has been recognized for her performances, winning César Awards for her roles in The Last Metro and another film by Régis Wargnier. She has also been nominated for César Awards 14 times and has won the David di Donatello for Best Foreign Actress for her performance in The Last Metro.
