Brett Ratner is an American film director and producer born on March 28, 1969, in Miami Beach, Florida. He began his career directing music videos in the 1990s before directing his first motion picture, Money Talks, in 1997. His directorial credits include the Rush Hour film series, The Family Man, Red Dragon, X-Men: The Last Stand, Tower Heist, and Hercules. As a producer, he worked on the Horrible Bosses series, and he served as an executive producer on films such as The Revenant and War Dogs, as well as the television series Prison Break. Ratner is also the co-founder of the film production company RatPac Entertainment. Globally, the films directed by Ratner have earned over $2 billion at the box office.
