Biography

Kim Ji-yeon, known professionally as Bona, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a member of the South Korean-Chinese girl group WJSN and its sub-unit, WJSN The Black. Born on August 19, 1995, she began her acting career in 2017 with a role in the KBS2 drama Hit the Top. In 2018, she secured her first female lead role in the teen drama Girls' Generation 1979. Bona later gained recognition for her performance as Ko Yu-rim, a world champion and gold medalist fencer, in the 2022 tvN drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One. Her professional background encompasses both musical performance and television acting within the South Korean entertainment industry.
