Robert William Barker was an American television game show host born on December 12, 1923, and died on August 26, 2023, at the age of 99. He hosted the CBS program The Price Is Right, which is noted as the longest-running daytime game show in North American television history, from 1972 to 2007. In addition to his long tenure on that program, Barker also hosted Truth or Consequences from 1956 to 1975.
