She gained widespread recognition for her breakout performance in the romantic comedy film 10 (1979). Her subsequent film credits include A Change of Seasons (1980) and the 1981 releases Fantasies and Tarzan, the Ape Man, followed by Bolero (1984) and Ghosts Can't Do It (1989). The latter four films were directed by her first husband, director John Derek. After John Derek’s death in 1998, she married actor John Corbett in 2020.
