Traylor Elizabeth Howard is an American actress born on June 14, 1966, in Orlando, Florida. She is the middle of three children and attended Lake Highland Preparatory School before graduating from Florida State University with a degree in communications, advertising, and English. Howard began her acting career in 1994 with appearances in the "You Will" television commercial series. She gained recognition for her role as Natalie Teeger in the television series Monk, which aired from 2002 to 2009. Howard also portrayed Sharon Carter in the television series Two Guys and a Girl from 1998 to 2001, and played Joy Byrnes in Boston Common during its 1996 to 1997 run. As a teenager, she worked at SeaWorld in Orlando.
