Bethany Joy Lenz is an American actress. She was born on April 2, 1981, in Hollywood, Florida, USA. Lenz is known for her portrayal of Haley James Scott on the television drama One Tree Hill, which aired from 2003 to 2012. She has made guest appearances on various TV shows, including a series regular role in season 8 of the Showtime series Dexter. Lenz has also become a regular face for the Hallmark Channel, starring in multiple original movies. In addition to her acting career, she has also worked as a singer-songwriter and filmmaker, and has executive produced the horror film So Cold the River.
