Bebe Drake is an American actress born on May 31, 1944, in Sacramento, California. She is one of four children. Her parents are Beatrice Lillian Hayes, a teacher, social worker, and community activist, and Carl Everett Drake, a postal worker who later became a psychiatrist. Drake attended C. K. McClatchy High School, Sacramento City College, and California State University, Sacramento. She made her Broadway debut in the 1975 play The First Breeze of Summer and appeared in a Great Performances production the following year. She was a regular cast member on the sitcoms Snip and Sanford Arms. Drake has appeared in 58 known credits.
