Biography
Asghar Farhadi is a male director born on May 7, 1972, in Isfahan, Iran. He became interested in cinema during his teenage years and joined the Youth Cinema Society of Esfahan in 1986 to make short films. Farhadi received his Bachelor's degree in Theater from the University of Tehran's School of Dramatic Arts in 1998 and later earned his Master's degree in Stage Direction from Tarbiat Modarres University. He has made six shorts and two TV series for Iran's National Broadcasting Corporation, with "A Tale of a City" being notable among them. Farhadi co-wrote the script for Low Height in 2001, marking his debut in professional cinema.
