Anne Haney was an American actress of stage and screen. Born Anne Ryan Thomas on March 4, 1934, in Memphis, Tennessee, she is known for her roles in various films and television shows. Haney's acting credits include appearances in Mrs. Doubtfire and Liar Liar, as well as guest roles in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She also played recurring roles in Mama's Family, Our House, and L.A. Law. Throughout her career, Haney appeared in numerous other films and television shows, accumulating 96 known credits. Haney passed away on May 26, 2001, at the age of 67.

She was a regular guest star during the syndicated run of Mama's Family, portraying Alberta Meechum, who was the nemesis of Thelma Harper. On the television series Our House, she played the fussy neighbor Virginia Taft, and she was also a regular guest star on L.A. Law, where she played Judge Marilyn Travelini.
Haney passed away on May 26, 2001, at the age of sixty-seven. Her extensive body of work on both television and film established her as a recognizable character actress of stage and screen.
