Andrew Russell Garfield is an English and American actor born on August 20, 1983, in Los Angeles, California. He is of English and Polish Jewish heritage and moved to Surrey, United Kingdom, with his parents and older brother at the age of three. Garfield is recognized for his work across a variety of genres, including biographical dramas, action, musicals, and superhero films, as well as independent cinema. In 2022, Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
