David Morrissey is an English actor and director born on 21 June 1964 in Everton, Liverpool, England, UK. He grew up in the Kensington and Knotty Ash areas of Liverpool. Morrissey attended the Everyman Youth Theatre, where he learned to act alongside other notable actors. At the age of 18, he was cast in the television series One Summer. He later attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and acted with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. Throughout his career, Morrissey has appeared in numerous roles, including a portrayal of Bradley Headstone in Our Mutual Friend. He has worked extensively in the film and television industry, with over 140 credits to his name.
