Allison Hayes was an American film and television actress and model. Born Mary Jane Hayes in Charleston, West Virginia, she graduated from Calvin Coolidge High School in the class of 1948. Hayes won the title of Miss District of Columbia and represented D.C. in the 1949 Miss America pageant. She worked in local television before moving to Hollywood in 1954 to work for Universal Pictures, taking the name Allison Hayes. She played small roles in a handful of films at Universal for a couple of years before filing a lawsuit against the studio over injuries sustained while filming. Hayes released from her contract and went on to work in the entertainment industry.
