Biography
Allison Hayes was a West Virginia native who attended Calvin Coolidge High School in the class of 1948. She won the title of Miss District of Columbia and represented D.C. in the 1949 Miss America pageant. Hayes moved to Hollywood in 1954 to work for Universal Pictures, where she took the stage name Allison Hayes. She played small roles in a handful of films at Universal for a couple of years. In 1955, Hayes filed a lawsuit against the studio over injuries sustained while filming her second picture, SIGN OF THE PAGAN. Universal subsequently released her from her contract.
