Kieu Anh was born in 1981 in Thai Nguyen, entered the dance major at the Military School of Arts (now the Military University of Culture and Arts) at the age of 13. At the age of 17, she regularly performed in programs serving border soldiers.
At the age of 20, she was cast in the role of Nhung in the movie Ahead is the sky, directed by Do Thanh Hai. Her character is a journalism student, gentle and hard-working.
