This digital story explores how the residential built environment can better support non-nuclear family structures, arguing that architecture must evolve to reflect the realities of contemporary family life. It launches my McGill Master of Architecture thesis research, a design project responding to Quebec’s recent legal recognition of pluriparentalité (multiple parenthood) and the housing crisis.
