We will gather this Sunday for the Feast of the HOLY SPIRIT, the celebration of Pentecost. We remember that 50 days after the Resurrection of Jesus the HOLY SPIRIT descends upon the apostles and they are completely changed to become courageous proclaimers of the Good News throughout the ends of the earth. As we gather this weekend, may we prepare our hearts to receive a fresh outpouring of the HOLY SPIRIT to continue to renew us and the world. The HOLY SPIRIT, the 3rd person of the Blessed Trinity is the spirit of God’s love. May the HOLY SPIRIT continually transform us to become more and more like Christ.
