Through an autopsy, police determined that the victim was stuffed in a plastic basket. There was a little fluid inside the victim’s lungs. This shows that the victim died after being taken to the biogas tank.

Investigators determined that the biogas tank was only the place where the perpetrator disposed of the victim’s body, not the main scene. Continuing to search the apple tree area near the edge of Vuong’s house, the scouts discovered many strange traces. Nearby was a pile of dry firewood, with many hard wooden sticks, consistent with the object that caused the wound on victim T’s head.

Inside Vuong’s house, the police found many pieces of electrical wire and pineapple packaging placed on a partially cut concrete pedestal with the same characteristics as the wire used to tie the mouth of the blue plastic basket containing the victim’s body hidden in the biogas tank. . These items match the samples of the rope and cloth that wrapped victim T’s body.

Police determined that Ms. T. was hit in the head, causing a skull fracture and traumatic brain injury. There was little fluid in the lungs, indicating that after being thrown into the gas pit, the victim died.

In the corner of the wall in the livestock house, investigators also discovered a newly drilled hole, enough for one person to squeeze through to get to the biogas tank, which had been covered with pieces of wood. Faced with irrefutable evidence, Nguyen Thi Vuong had to bow her head and admit the murder of Ms. T.

Kill the “creditor” because a conflict arose

At the investigation agency, Nguyen Thi Vuong declared that in early February 2021, Vuong borrowed 158 million VND from Ms. Pham Thi T. By early January 2022, Vuong had paid Ms. T. principal and interest of 162 million VND. However, Ms. T. asked Vuong to pay the remaining interest of 133 million VND.

At about 4:00 p.m. on January 28, 2022, Ms. T. rode a motorbike to Vuong’s house to pick up the debt as promised. At this time, Vuong gave Ms. Tam 100 million VND and asked to pay off the remaining 33 million VND. At about 5:30 p.m. the same day, the victim continued to go to Vuong’s house, but because Vuong did not have money to pay, Ms. T. cursed her.

After that, the two sides exchanged words and a fight broke out. During the scuffle, Vuong picked up a wooden stick about half a meter long and hit Ms. T on the head. Ms. T protested and kicked Vuong in the stomach, making Vuong angry, using the wooden stick to repeatedly hit the victim in the head, causing the victim to fall. to the ground.

Seeing Ms. T. fall to the ground unconscious, he thought the victim was dead, so Vuong dragged the victim’s body into the bathroom, tied the limbs tightly, put the body in packaging and stuffed it into a plastic basket.

Afterwards, Vuong went to the front door of the house to clean up the scene, burning the wooden stick used as a murder weapon next to the apple tree… Fearing being discovered, on the evening of January 29, Vuong used a crowbar to carve into the wall behind the pig barn. , dragged the plastic basket containing the victim’s body out into the garden and stuffed it into the biogas tank to dispose of the evidence.

On December 14, 2022, Nguyen Thi Vuong was sentenced to death by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Court for Murder.

Late on the evening of January 28, 2022, the husband of Ms. Pham Thi T. (born 1983, residing in Thach Quang commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province) suddenly felt unusually impatient when waiting for his wife to come home. Even though he made many phone calls and asked everywhere to see if anyone had seen his wife’s whereabouts, this man still could not contact her.

That whole night, groups of people kept walking around the streets of Quang Cong village and Thach Quang commune, “searching” everywhere, but still without any results.

Considering that Ms. T.’s family has wide connections and is economically well-off, it is likely that this woman was kidnapped and blackmailed, which is the first question raised by the police. Immediately, a list of a series of drug addicts with criminal records and many suspicious signs in the area and neighboring communes was put on the “sight” for review and verification. However, after reviewing, the scouts still have not found any clues.
