On the afternoon of December 24, at My Hoa beach, Ninh Hai district (Ninh Thuan), the closing ceremony and awarding of awards to outstanding athletes at the Ninh Thuan – Binh Thuan open kitesurfing tournament in 2023 took place.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa – Director of Ninh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, after 2 days of exciting competition, this tournament took place successfully. Thousands of tourists and local spectators were “satisfied” with the athletes’ artistic santos. Tourists witness with their own eyes the athletes’ beautiful tosses, somersaults in mid-air and landing on the sea surface…
The movements that are both soft, skillful, fierce and risky of 100 top athletes from 18 countries around the world such as Australia, England, India, Finland, France, Korea, Russia… have make the audience admire.
According to international kiteboarding athletes, My Hoa beach (Ninh Hai district) is one of the most beautiful beaches and has the best conditions for developing kiteboarding.
This place is far from the city center. Phan Rang – Thap Cham is about 20 km with a beautiful coastline so it is very convenient for tourists to move.

At the end of 2 days of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the male individual first prize in the Twintip Race content to athlete Nguyen Van Cot from Vietnam. First prize in the Big Air Twintip Freesty – Old School event for athlete Hoang Van Phu.
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 2 female individual trophies in 2 events to Korean athlete Mi Youn Lee and Russian athlete E Ka.
