In addition, on this occasion, BIDV also implemented the program “Warm Tet on remote islands”: spending 2 billion VND to give Tet gifts to soldiers and relatives of navy soldiers on duty to guard the sovereignty of sea and islands. on the front islands of the Fatherland.
At the event announcing Tet gifts, BIDV also summarized the Run “BIDV Run – Warm Tet for the poor Xuan Giap Thin 2024” held from November 12 to December 3, 2023. This is the 5th consecutive year BIDV has organized an online charity run using technology to record the running results of athletes.
The running race attracted nearly 54,000 athletes from provinces, cities and 20 countries and territories around the world to participate with a total of 4.5 million km of achievements. Corresponding to that result, BIDV spent more than 17 billion VND out of a total of 20 billion VND to give Tet gifts to poor people to welcome the Year of the Dragon 2024.
The running race is an activity that connects people who want to contribute to BIDV in bringing Tet gift packages to people in difficulty, contributing to spreading positive living values to the community.

40,000 Tet gifts represent the love and sharing of BIDV staff to families facing many difficulties with the hope that families will have more conditions to enjoy Spring and welcome Tet. BIDV will assign branches to coordinate with the government, Fatherland Front agencies, and Labor Confederation in localities to organize donations to poor people before December 15.
Attending and speaking at the program, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Truong Thi Ngoc Anh highly appreciated and acknowledged BIDV’s humane social security activities in recent times, awarding BIDV’s Tet gifts for the poor are a social security program with special significance, effectiveness and practical significance for poor people. The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in localities will coordinate closely with BIDV to organize timely gift giving to the right beneficiaries before the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.
Giving Tet gifts to the poor is a meaningful annual activity that BIDV has continuously carried out for many years, receiving support and recognition from localities and people across the country. From 2009 until now, each year BIDV has donated 15,000-65,000 gifts to the poor, the total number of gifts BIDV has given to poor people has reached nearly 1 million gifts with a total value of more than 300 billion VND.
