Overview

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is a television series set within the universe of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, which is based on a card game featuring monsters, spells, and traps. The narrative begins ten years after the Ceremonial Battle. The story follows a teenage boy named Judai Yuuki, also known as Jaden Yuki, as he travels to a remote island off the coast of Japan to join the Duel Academia. Upon his arrival at the school, he interacts with various students and faculty, forming both friendships and rivalries. Judai is initially placed into the Osiris Red, or Slifer Red, rank, which is the lowest tier at the academy. Throughout his time at the school, he consistently tests his abilities against other students and staff members. His primary goal is to demonstrate his skills as a duelist and earn the respect of those around him. The series documents his experiences and challenges as he navigates life and competition at the Duel Academy.
