The city is served by the sacred Seven Pillars, which serve as a beacon for the youkai. The Hiizumi Life Counseling Office plays a key role in maintaining harmony in the city by keeping the townsfolk happy. The office is staffed by a team that includes the young mayor of the city, Hime Yarizakura. Satori Ao Nanami, who possesses the ability to read people's minds, is also a member of the office.
