Overview

Your Family or Mine is a television series that originated as an Israeli production titled Savri Maranan. The show follows the experiences of a young married couple as they navigate the dynamics of their respective families. In the Israeli version, the plot centers on Shani and her husband Shai, who visit her Sephardic family and his Ashkenazi relatives for regular weekend meals that highlight the unique quirks and foibles of both clans. The American adaptation features a different central couple, Oliver and Kelli, and alternates between their families residing in New York and Los Angeles. This family comedy utilizes an unusual structure where each episode focuses on a different side of the family. The series has spanned multiple seasons, with the ninth season of the Israeli production premiering in December 2024. The American version, created by Greg Malins, features a cast including Kyle Howard, Kat Foster, Andrew Lees, and Richard Dreyfuss. The show continues to be documented as an ongoing production through 2025.
