While she aspires to lead a normal, ordinary life as a delicate young lady, she is being trained by her grandfather, a seventh dan Judo master named Jigorou Inokuma. Her grandfather intends for her to become Japan's great hope for the women's Judo competition at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
