Overview

WWF Superstars of Wrestling is an American professional wrestling television program produced by the World Wrestling Federation. The series debuted on September 6, 1986, and served as the flagship program for the organization's syndicated television offerings. Over the course of its broadcast history, the title of the show was shortened from WWF Superstars of Wrestling to WWF Superstars and eventually to Sunday Morning Superstars. The program featured professional wrestling matches, interviews with performers, and news updates regarding ongoing feuds and upcoming events within the sports-entertainment industry. Participants featured on the series included Vince McMahon, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Ted DiBiase. The show remained in production for many years, with some sources documenting its run through 2001, while other records note the brand continued until 2016. It is distinct from the World Wildlife Fund, which is an organization dedicated to wildlife conservation and the protection of endangered species. The program provided fans with consistent access to the stars of the World Wrestling Federation.
