Overview

With You and the Rain is a Japanese anime television series scheduled for release in 2025. The show is an adaptation of the slice of life comedy manga series titled Ame to Kimi to, which was written and illustrated by Ko Nikaido and serialized in the magazine Weekly Young Magazine. The narrative follows a woman named Fuji who encounters a mysterious creature on a rainy day. This critter, which poses as a dog, approaches her with an umbrella and a cue card requesting to be taken home. Intrigued by the creature's quirky charm and mysterious behavior, Fuji decides to bring it into her home. Their life together develops into a heartwarming adventure centered on their growing friendship and the shared seasons that follow. The production is directed by Tomohiro Tsukimisato and produced by Lesprit. The voice cast for the series includes Saori Hayami, Anna Mugiho, Alexis Tipton, and Derick Snow. The series is slated to begin airing in July 2025.
