Overview
Welsh and Shedar is an animated action and adventure television series that premiered in 2026. The story follows two young men from different backgrounds, Welsh, a teenage cook from the country, and Shedar, a young prince destined to become king. The narrative is set in the World of Twelve, where Zabelle Sheran Sharm, the queen of Bonta and guardian of the Ebony Dofus, seeks to unite the nations. Her tyrannical rule and desire for power have caused widespread misery. A prophecy proclaimed by her son, Shedar, foretells that the queen will be defeated by a boy with azure blue eyes. This boy is Welsh, whose life changes when a black dragon named Asalar attacks his village. To save his world, Welsh must locate the Ivory Dofus, the only artifact capable of stopping Zabelle. Along his journey, he is accompanied by his friend Béchamel. The voice cast for the series includes Marissa Lenti, Kyle Phillips, Roo Ryder, and Daniel J. McLean. The show is also known by the title Aoki Denshou Welsh and Shedar.
