The series stars Jenna Ortega as the titular character, with Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones appearing as her parents. The plot follows Wednesday Addams during her years as a student at Nevermore Academy. After being expelled from her previous school for retaliating against the boys' water polo team for bullying her brother Pugsley, she enrolls at the academy. While there, the smart and sarcastic protagonist attempts to master her emerging psychic ability.
