W.I.T.C.H. is an animated television series centered on a group of individuals known as the Guardians. The narrative follows these characters as they work to protect the realm of Meridian from the sorcerer Phobos and his associate, Cedric. The antagonists are actively searching for the long-lost princess of Meridian, who is identified as the true heir to the throne. After the Guardians locate the princess, their mission shifts toward protecting her from Phobos. Following the liberation of Meridian and the ascension of the true heir, a new antagonist named Nerissa emerges. She releases Phobos' former henchmen and reorganizes them into a group called the Knights of Vengeance. As the Guardians investigate the sorceress and her objective to reunite former Guardians, they successfully defeat the initial group of knights. However, this victory leads to the emergence of more powerful adversaries. The series documents the ongoing efforts of the Guardians to counter these threats and maintain order within the magical realm of Meridian.
