Overview

Undead Murder Farce is a 2023 television series set in a world where supernatural creatures such as vampires and werewolves exist. The story follows Aya Rindo, a disembodied head who works as a detective. Because she is deceased but behaves as if she were alive, she fits the definition of an undead being, which refers to creatures in fiction that are reanimated after death by supernatural means. Accompanied by her maid, Shizuku Hasei, Aya travels in search of her stolen body. During their journey, the pair encounters a half-human Oni Slayer named Tsugaru Shunichi. He offers his assistance to the duo, and the three characters begin traveling through Europe together. As they traverse the continent, the trio dedicates their time to solving various mysteries. The narrative explores their interactions within a reality where spirits, revenants, and other cursed beings exist beyond death, blending their detective work with the presence of mythical creatures from folklore and legend.
