Overview

Tokyo 24th Ward is a television series centered on the Far Eastern Special Administrative Region, a man-made island also known as the 24th Ward. The story follows three individuals named Shuta, Ran, and Koki who were born and raised on this island. Despite having different family backgrounds, preferences, and personalities, the three friends remained close until a specific incident altered their relationship. One year after this event, the trio reunites by chance while attending a memorial service held for the incident. During this gathering, all three of their phones ring at the same time. They receive a call from a friend who is believed to be dead. This individual demands that Shuta, Ran, and Koki make a decision regarding the future. The series explores the consequences of this mysterious communication and the shared history of the three protagonists as they navigate the pressures imposed upon them by the caller.
