Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun is a television series based on a Japanese manga series written by Iro and illustrated by Aida. The anime adaptation, also known as Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun, premiered on January 9, 2020, on TBS, SUN, CBC, and BS-TBS channels. The series follows the story of Nene Yashiro and her interactions with the ghost of Hanako-kun at Kamome Academy. Nene and Hanako-kun want to stay out of trouble, but they are often followed by shenanigans. The series consists of 12 episodes, each 24 minutes long, and has been licensed for an official English dub. The story takes a turn when an unforeseen event causes mayhem at the academy, and Nene and Kou Minamoto seek help from Hanako-kun to find those responsible. The series is available to stream on Crunchyroll in subbed or dubbed versions.
